Her background includes careers guidance, mentoring, and tutoring, with a strong emphasis on building confidence, resilience, and self-belief. She co-founded Anchoreach with her business partner, Paul, to create a community-focused service dedicated to supporting local people who face barriers related to mental health and social disadvantage and isolation, helping them feel empowered, supported, and connected.

Paul has over 45 years of experience working within the community and co-founded Anchoreach to create a welcoming, inclusive space where individuals facing personal and social barriers can build confidence, strengthen their skills, and feel more connected within their community. Throughout his career, he has been passionate about empowering people to recognise their strengths, improve their wellbeing, and develop a greater sense of purpose and belonging, ensuring that support is compassionate, accessible, and centred around the needs of each individual.

​Jacqui is a qualified counsellor who is fluent in sign language and is passionate about making communication and emotional support accessible within the community. Alongside her counselling work, she runs free sign language sessions to help break down communication barriers and promote greater inclusion and understanding. With a compassionate and approachable style, Jacqui creates safe, supportive spaces where individuals feel heard, valued, and empowered to strengthen their wellbeing and confidence.
