At Lakota Hub CIC, good governance is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to operating openly, responsibly and transparently, ensuring that the people and communities we support remain at the centre of our decisions.

Our Directors

Our Directors provide strategic leadership and oversight, ensuring Lakota Hub CIC is well managed and continues to deliver positive outcomes for our community.

Joanne Horner – Director
Provides strategic leadership and brings extensive experience of supporting individuals and communities.

Paul Marriner – Director & Safeguarding Lead
Responsible for safeguarding oversight and helping ensure a safe and supportive environment for everyone who accesses our services.

Jacqui Bedingfield – Director
Supports wellbeing, counselling and inclusion across the organisation, with extensive experience supporting people facing barriers.

Rose Poole – Director & Project Coordinator
Supports project development, delivery and monitoring, helping ensure our programmes meet the needs of local people.

We maintain appropriate financial records and submit our required accounts and information to the relevant regulatory bodies.

Where appropriate, details of our funded projects and the outcomes achieved are also shared with funders and our community.

 

Safeguarding

​The safety and wellbeing of everyone who accesses Lakota Hub CIC is a priority.

We have clear safeguarding procedures in place and ensure that staff and volunteers understand their responsibilities. Safeguarding concerns are dealt with promptly and appropriately in line with our policies and legal responsibilities.

This information helps us demonstrate the impact of our work, report to funders and continually improve our services.

Conflicts of Interest

Our Directors are expected to declare any relevant interests and ensure that potential conflicts of interest are appropriately managed. Decisions are made in the best interests of Lakota Hub CIC and the communities we support.
